Josh Richards is the Next Generation Director at Gainesville City Church. He is passionate about helping young people discover and deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ. He holds a Master of Divinity in Discipleship Ministries from Liberty University and has dedicated his ministry to helping students — from elementary through college — grow in faith and spiritual maturity.
In addition to his work at City Church, Josh has spent over eight years in missions, leading numerous international and domestic trips. Through these experiences, he has helped many come to faith in Christ and take their first steps in lifelong discipleship. Whether through teaching, mentoring, or serving across cultures, Josh is committed to equipping the next generation to walk faithfully with Jesus.
Josh married his wife Hannah in January 2025, and together they enjoy serving the church and discipling the next generation.
